Last week under a balmy twilight sky, the Official Ticket Launch Party of Macy's
Passport Presents Glamorama 2010 was held. Hosted by Chicago's fiercest fashion force Candace Jordan, the event was designed as a special treat for those who had purchased an early-bird ticket for Glamorama 2010, the city's annual style event that benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities which will take place on Friday, August 13, with Macy Gray Headlining!

The party was held in the chic West Loop space of Prairie Productions, a luminescent loft so clean you're afraid to put your champagne glass down without a coaster. Outside, the welcome area was softly lit with votives while photographer's welcomed in guests with a quick, paparazzi-like session. Inside, the white on white decor provided a sleek backdrop for the pulsing tunes and mingling chatter. For our fashion fix, models meandered around the venue dressed in looks by three local designers, JLee Silver, Orlando Espinoza and Sahar Dada. As we discussed the current runway looks, we enjoyed appetizers and cocktails and later, were treated to a performance by rising stars & Hidden Beach recording artist, Naturally 7, presented by Akoo. As guests filled the spotless dance floor to party the night away, everyone knew this was the perfect way to kick off the sizzling season of style.
