Celebrity Style Smackdown. Who Wore It Best?

June 24, 2010 • Celebrity Style

Khloe Kardashian vs. Kourtney Kardashian in bebe by Kardashian

The Winner: Kourtney Kardashian. The sisters battle it out here in their own line for the label, but Kourtney emerges victorious in her choice to not belt the jumpsuit. Her funky necklace and simple heels do the job in dressing up the one piece, and the overall fit is just more attractive without the belt. Khloe's Chanel logo belt cuts her off at the waist, which results in a non too flattering fit around her bottom half.

Kate Hudson vs. Naomi Watts in Stella McCartney

The Winner: Naomi Watts. Here's an example of when it pays off to belt a jumpsuit. Watts' belt and boxy jacket provides structure to the baggy one piece, and her fun yellow heels are a nice jolt of color in the ensemble. Despite the casual shape, she looks polished and appropriately dressed up. Hudson wearing the piece on its own makes it come off looking shapeless and kind of bulky.

Kate Cassidy vs. Shannon Doherty in A/X Armani Exchange

The Winner: Kate Cassidy. Both women rock their curves in this slim-fitting siren red dress. But Cassidy's booties and tousled waves look effortlessly chic and sexy. Doherty's heavy makeup and long black locks are too heavy and goth-like for the fun little dress. She should use that rubber band on her wrist to pull back her hair!

Ashley Greene vs. Daisy Lowe in Dolce & Gabbana

The Winner: Ashley Greene. Greene is a testament to 'less is more' in this ensemble. Her minimal jewelry and elegant peep toes and clutch allow the ruched, flirty number to stand on its own and make a statement. And her easy hair style and bare legs make the look appropriately unfussy. Lowe has too much going on with the embellished cardigan and sheer pantyhose under her heels. If you can, always go bare with peep toe shoes!

Kiera Knightley vs. Kristen Dunst in Miu Miu

The Winner: Its a tie! There's no way I could choose one over the other of these adorable looks. The girls keep in step with the vintage vibe of the skirt when choosing their tops and accessories. Knightley's matching print top and quilted bag looks classical and sophisticated while her platform heels make the look more modern. Dunst's white-collared number is also timelessly chic when paired with her own Chanel bag and easy flats. Bravo!
