Tabloid headliner, Britney Spears, is steadily reclaiming her "good girl" image by recently joining forces with Candie's for a limited-edition collection, which is exclusively sold at Kohl's stores nationwide. For the upcoming back-to-school season, the line will include sportswear, handbags and jewelry collections. "I wanted to design clothes that I would wear and my fans would wear. That was the most important thing to me,” Spears recently told WWD of her first adventure into fashion design. “I wanted to make both daytime casual looks and fun dresses to go out in at night." Although the collection is noted as a "limited" collection, the entire line will be available at all Kohl’s locations throughout the US, retailing for $14 – $78. Die-hard Spears fans can rest assure that the collaboration spared no expense with the launch – as television commercials, and print ads are set to launch this week. "We talked to her about the idea of her designing a limited edition collection, and she loved it. She had been thinking of doing something more closely in the fashion arena and this was a natural extension of her partnership with Candie's", said Dari Marder, chief marketing officer at Iconix during her interview with WWD.
