Erin Fetherston is finally giving a peek at the new line for Juicy Couture coming this winter…
Fetherston took over as creative consultant for the brand this May. And as her first order of business, she wore the dress that would be known as the new changes of Juicy Couture. First seen at the Met Ball, the dress was a thirties-style champange colored velour gown with draped dolman sleeves.
Launching for holiday, the 11-style lineup — which includes a version of that gala gown — gives the brand a glam new makeover, working a dressy Thirties-meets-Seventies vibe. Though you can mark some big changes for the brand, don't expect a complete overhaul from Fetherston.
“We’re not trying to take Juicy away from being a casual brand," Fetherston explained at a press conference on Thursday. "But my vision is to take things out of the box of just sportswear or leisurewear.”
