Including vegetables in your daily skincare regimen seems to be the latest and most innovative cosmetic trend to hit the circuit since we originally utilized the avocado in our face masks. Yes To Inc., an all natural beauty brand known for their use of carrots, tomatoes, and cucumbers in various products, most recently announced their plans to include the antioxidant-packed fruit: blueberries in their skincare line.
The 'Yes to Blueberries Age Refresh' line is set to launch in the U.S. in October of this year – and will be available for purchase at your local Target or Walgreens retailer. In a recent interview with WWD, Yes To's cofounder, Ido Leffler, noted that other key ingrediants such as intensive skin repair serum contains polyphenol-rich apple extract and organic cotton thistle, which serves to produce collagen production – minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."Blueberries are a super fruit, with one of the highest levels of antioxidants out there, said Leffler in his interview. Olive fruit oil and paracress flower, (is) particularly efficacious at helping to diminish the appearance of crow’s feet" – a beauty faux pa that no one wants to be caught dead with.
