August 6, 2010 • Accessories, Breaking News

HauteLook has been accused of selling secondhand Cartier watches. According to court documents obtained by Fashionista, the luxury watch brand which is owned by conglomerate Richemont, is suing HauteLook for over $2 million.

Though Cartier has not outright accused the company of selling counterfeit watches, Cartier says that these watches are used secondhand products. HauteLook's policy is that they work directly with the brands and sell new, not used, merchandise
