The “Add to Cart” Award:
Anyone who has read my column before knows that my favorite place of e-commerce is Shopbop. These guys have really mastered e-tailing, probably because the website became a part of the Amazon Inc. group of companies in 2006. But unlike giant Amazon, Shopbop has remained a chic site with a personal, boutique feel. The website has a balanced design of inspiring editorial with easy navigation, and the company offers frequent sales and year-round free shipping. Shopbop’s selection of contemporary designers is unrivaled and I especially love their jewelry and shoe collections. This site makes me want to keep on shopping!

The A Girl Can Dream Award:
According to Vogue UK, Net-A-Porter “revolutionized the way we buy designer clothes”. Since the site’s launch in 2000, consumers have had access to designer fashion with the click of a button and their purchase is only a couple days away via worldwide express delivery. Net-A-Porter also has an editorial feel, so you feel like you’re hand-selecting a look from the page of a fashion magazine. Browse the collections of Emilio Pucci, Chloe, Alexander Wang, Balmain and many more. If the prices are too high, try Net-A-Porter’s sister site,, which features 200+ designer brands at competitive sale prices.

The So Easy To Shop Award:
I was excited when I learned there was a fourth place I could use my Banana Republic card. For a long time, my routine was BR for work wear, Gap for basics and Old Navy for pajamas. But lately, I’ve been racking up my points almost exclusively at Piperlime where I find myself checking out with a pair of Corso Como shoes, a Rebcca Minkoff bag or maybe a Tucker print dress. Piperlime’s strong suit is still definitely the shoes, although the site is quickly rounding out its handbag and clothing offerings. I love the wide selection of shoe brands like Dolce Vita, Pour La Victoire and Seychelles.

The Dream & Inspire Award:
Browsing is a little like visiting a museum, except the items are for sale. Curator/Founder Eva Jeanbart-Lorenzotti fills the pages with cultural and global treasures that will make you want to travel far and shop ‘til you drop. Vivre is full of fabulous unique gift ideas like candles and clutch purses, and has plenty of items for yourself, whether it’s a pair of white turquoise earrings or a leather carry-all bag.

The Immediately Impressed Award:
I’m fairly new to Tobi and was immediately impressed with the extensive collection of clothing and accessories. The site also offers a Beauty Bar, an eco-friendly section and stylists available via chat or phone Monday through Friday. Shop by category and check out the endless selection of day dresses and blazers.
