Despite the end of summer rush for all designers showing in New York Fashion Week, Tory Burch has done a stellar job managing her time. The New York-based designer will be showing her Spring collection come September, but somehow found time to design for a charity project as well. Burch is creating a special T-shirt for the
Lung Cancer Research Foundation’s annual Strides for Life race in
Southampton this coming Sunday.
As a Strides for Life committee member, Burch prioritized the project to show her support for the cause. And she should have no problem with finding enough participants to dress: the first 500 women who sign up for the
3-mile run-walk event will receive a free shirt emblazoned
with the mantra “Run Breathe Live.” The Strides for Life race has raised more
than $2.1 million for the LCRF over the past five years. Thanks for your help, Tory!
