August 12, 2010 • Beauty

The latest addition to the recent beauty craze of "mood" products comes compliments of DuWop. The saucy cosmetics company, known for their pout-plumping Lip Venom, has just released an extended version of their bestselling “Private Red” line, which has been marketed as containing "mood lipstick technology". Starting out as a fiery crimson, the hue actually changes into "each woman's personal red", depending on their skin tone.

The "Private Red" line was originally inspired by the popular mood lipsticks of the 1970s, and now, the brand has decided to branch out further. At least two more shades will be added to the "Private Red" line. Each of the spicy shades contain annatto, hibiscus and henna-three naturally derived pigments that trigger that change into the ultimate complementary color for anyone. The lipsticks also contain hydrating ingredients like beeswax, caster oil and Vitamin E to keep the lip color lightweight and shiny without being sticky. Stay tuned for more details, and check out the original "Private Red" lipstick from DuWop at
