Bangs have come a long way from the blunt style we wore as little girls with no control over our hair. In early 2000s, the side swept bang went from red carpet to school hallways faster than your flat iron can heat up. It was a look that was obtainable by all, whether you had a hair stylist on-call or just a trusty flat iron. A few years later, the blunt "mod" bangs went down runways but didn't seem to trickle too far down to the everyday woman.
In the past couple of years a new hybrid bang has hit faces. Like Lea's, it's a mussed up, grown out version of those bangs we had in kindergarden. Better than the bangs of our youth though, these bangs look great styled to the side or sexily skimming your brows.
Call up your hairstylist or break out your shears and start snipping. Fall is the perfect time for bangs!
