Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NY Spring ’11. Callula Lillibelle – The New Classic

September 11, 2010 • Fashion Shows, New York Fashion Week Spring '11

You can call Callula Lillibelle the "modern collection of the classic sexy siren". To be seen as a "sleek and feminine wardrobe of contemporary silhouettes", the modern woman can easily take these looks from the office to a night out on the town with just a change of shoes.

The collection, created by designers Melanie Hart and William Calvert, is already making moves in its third collection. Calvert, which established himself in the design community as a couture designer since 1998, was more than happy to speak with Second City Style about the new collection.

"These are clothing for a living," Calvert said of the line. Though one can see the current fashion trends in each piece, each article is still classic enough to keep forever.

Speaking with Calvert, one can definitely see his love of clothing. " I create clothing for working women, women on the go…" Calvert said. "I want [ my collection pieces ] to have variation: different necklines, dresses for different body types. I want to have something for everyone."
