Summary: Energy and anticipation filled the air as the audience awaited the ZSpoke Collection by Zac Posen for an evening show on day three, just as NY Fashion Week was getting into it's grove. When the music by The Misshapes started my seat was literally vibrating to the beat. Models strutted out cooly wearing Absolute Black for Z Spoke shades or over-the-top exaggerated eye make-up (to look like shades). Or maybe they were superwomen? The collection was very fun, Betsey Johnson-esque, with a lot of color and prints, such as a fun "Face Print." I never saw black combined yellow that worked, but Zac Posen somehow managed to pull it off. There were separates in the collection that as well as plenty of dresses with corseted looks that managed to be both sweet and rock 'n roll at the same time.

Color Palette: Black, club green, denim blue, cherry, Swedish blue; Prints: animal iconic, pineapple, flocked grape, dancing ladies, strawberry, daisy, face, fruit cocktail, plaid

Fabrics and Textures: Cotton, knit jersey, double knit jersey, stretch cotton, lurex knit, stretch crepe, denim, silk, crepe jersey, ruffles, corded, sheer, lace
