As a teen I have to say I wasn't that into makeup. Most of my high school years consisted of high top sneakers and a basketball. Eyeliner, and blush was the least of my worries. However, when I did start wearing makeup, I realized how my attitude changed, and how great it made me feel. I do believe, it can help with confidence and definitely make you feel your best, and Bobbi Brown must believe that too.
With the launch of her new book Beauty Rules: Fabulous Looks, Beauty Essentials, and Life Lessons for Loving your Teens and Twenties, it aims to helps girls esteem in feeling more confident about themselves and embrace who they are. How important is that, where these days, tv, and the media, are often showing girls what the world thinks they should be.
The book focuses on health, wellness, and even the mother/daughter relationship. You can also catch interviews and get there perspective on beauty, from women like Jenna Lyons, and Hilary Duff.
And in celebration, and to get these teens beauty quest off to a kick Bobbi created her Beauty Rules Palette that features gorgeous colors for everyday, with new shades Homecoming Pink Pot Rouge and Air Kiss Lip Gloss.
Not only am I inspired, but I know teens all over will be inspired. You too can get a hold of Bobbi's book and Palette at www.bobbibrown.com
