Reduce, Re-use, Recycle & Be Beautiful

Picture 4Look in your make-up bag. If you're anything like me, it's full of products that are on their last drop, yet you can't seem to throw it away just yet. Once you finally do use up that last ounce, you usually just throw that plastic little container in the garbage without a second thought.

It's time to give that empty container a second thought. Although make-up containers are small, think about all the make-up we go through and how many little plastic containers add up to one big mess for our environment. As an eco-friendly woman, what are you going to do with a little container with no sign of being recyclable

Origins was thinking of our planet when last year they decided to start accepting all empty beauty containers to ship to a special recycling plant to guarantee they'll be recycled. Rumor has it that sometimes you can even get some samples in return for your eco-friendly attempt.

Your face looks great, now make sure the earth does too by heading to the mall with a bag full of empty containers and a feeling of knowing that you're helping the environment. With all that extra room in your cosmetic bag, its a great excuse to go make-up shopping….
