Intermix Chicago Knows How To Host A Holiday Shopping Event

November 11, 2010 • Events, Shopping

If you're looking for a one stop shop for all your holiday fashion needs, look no further than just off of Rush Street in Chicago. On a street of brownstone and neutral exteriors, Intermix's gleaming white store sticks out like a light in a storm.

Wednesday night, Intermix was shining bright welcoming guests to a holiday shopping event showing off what was new and ready to wear for winter. Store manager Lauren let us know that fur is huge right now and is going fast. Lauren also pointed out that while last year it was all about the blacks and charcoals, this year it's all about the browns with camel and forrest green.

Intermix went above and beyond to take care of guests at their special event. Benefit was set up for makeovers, right next Joseph Bartucci from Salon Buzz fixing up limp locks. Sprinkles treated us to delectable mini cupcakes that were a perfect sugar buzz.

  1. Amy says:

We’ll be holding protests outside a handful of INTERMIX’s holiday parties in protest of their sale of fur. INTERMIX’s sale of fur is supporting the barbaric fur trade. Animals are skinned alive for their coats, that’s not fashion, that’s animal cruelty. INTERMIX even has fur items labeled “Made in China” which Is actually dog and cat fur. Please don’t support INTERMIX until they go fur free!
