Plaid Goes Dressy

Every time the weather cools off, there's always a new combinations of plaid shirts and jeans. Plaid always is nice, but with jeans it can make a girl feel like a lumberjack. Let's do plaid in a new way, a girly way, a way that's been tried but never really caught on. Let's make plaid dresses an everyday thing.

Plaid dresses used to look like a giant, sloppy plaid shirt that had just been belted awkwardly, but not anymore. This year's frocks are nipped and tucked right where they should be to be worn by a lady.

Wear your plaid dress with tights, leggings, chunky jewelry, dainty jewelry, heels, flats, boots, hair-up, hair down, to brunch, to dinner….get the point? This isn't the 90's grunge look we all chose to forget, this is a classic pattern that is still modern and just dying to be seen.
