Hautelook Launches Social Shopping Platform for Facebook!

HauteLook is the first private sale site to incorporate Facebook’s—that's right, Facebook's—social shopping platform by bringing the exciting format of a 48-hour sale directly to members on Facebook! 

Already a member on Hautelook? Members will have two easy ways to shop HauteLook Events on Facebook. Members who “like” HauteLook on Facebook can browse sale events on a dedicated “Shop” tab at Facebook.com/hautelook or view a sale event on their homepage by clicking on a post from HauteLook. Members can even choose to post about their purchases on Facebook, allowing their friends to scroll over the post to launch the shopping application in their News Feed as well. And the best part is, members never have to leave Facebook to complete their transaction! As soon as they click “place order,” they can either choose to share their great new purchase or simply close the application and return to interacting with their friends on Facebook. How sweet is that!

HauteLook Events on Facebook will be offered on a weekly basis and will last 48 hours each. For the premiere sale, HauteLook will partner with brands including Carol’s Daughter, Diane von Furstenberg, and BCBG, to offer Facebook sale events to their combined communities and extended social networks.
