Beauty Report. Oprah’s Longtime Beauty Team Launch Their Own Lines

December 8, 2010 • Beauty, Celebrity Style

If anyone cane afford a round-the-clock hair and makeup arsenal, its the matriarch of media herself: Oprah. Wrapping up her final season in our beloved city, Oprah has been going extra glam these days, thanks to her longtime beauty team hairstylist Andre Walker and makeup artist Reggie Wells. When Oprah goes off the air next year and Walker and Wells can no longer style her taping, event appearances and cover shoots for her 'O' magazine, what will they do in all their spare time? Luckily, both stylists have begun extending their expertise to the public—and we're only too happy to welcome them in.

Andre Walker has already launched a line of his own products, called Andre Walker Hair. Available through his online store,, Walker's tagline boasts, "Your Complete Haircare Solution for All Types and Textures". The lineup includes Keratin shampoo and conditioner, smoothing hair oils and 'Hair Makeup', consisting of little colored pens to touch up fading hair color.

As for makeup artist, Reggie Wells, he is now the creative director for Australian beuaty brand Hissyfit, which released its anticipated Clockpot collection of makeup this month. The Clockpot collection consists of little compacts that Wells says can provide a 5-minute makeover anytime and anywhere. The compacts come available in a spectrum of skin tone colors for face, and then offer complimentary compacts for cheeks and eyes. Find the whole line at

No word yet on whether Oprah's beauty team will continue to style her off the air, but she did include Andre Walker's haircare products on her final 'Favorite Things' episode so it seems, as is her character, she doesn't mind sharing the wealth.
