Avril Lavigne just doesn't know when to quit.
Though Lavigne currently carries her own Abbey Dawn juniors' line at Kohl's, as well as her own fragrance, she wants to continue to expand by launching her own e-commerce website. And in a month, she will being wholesaling to boutiques in New York.
Coincidentally (… uh huh), Lavigne has her first new album in three years coming out in March and hopes that they will both promote each other. One of the designs on a sweatshirt has "What The Hell" written on them, which is also the name of her new single. Of course, high end couture pieces such as this will be made of better quality fabrics and cost more.
We’re trying to establish Abbey Dawn as a brand above and beyond Avril Lavigne the personality,” said Anderson, estimating that first-year sales will be less than $20 million. “I’d like to establish it as a formidable street-wear line than a flash-in-the-pan celebrity line that goes in one retailer and out the other.”
