She's taught us that not all celebrities are hacks when it comes to designing with her immensely successful line of ultra-chic dresses. Now Victoria Beckham, former Posh Spice, is turning her prowess to handbags, something she may know a thing or two about as well. The self-admitting handbag fanatic and owner of over 100 Hermes Birkin bags (no wonder they had to create those alligator breeding farms!) has unveiled a line of simple yet elegant handbags to accompany the signature aesthetic of her clothing line.
The first collection consists of six styles and has been thematically planned around "24 hours in the life of Victoria", according to T magazine of The New York Times. The premiere set of styles blend Beckham's cross-the-pond, jet-setting life and immaculate style with an attainable, everyday quality. Retailing between $1,800-$13,950, the bags will go on sale later this month at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus Los Angeles and netaporter.com with waiting lists reportedly building up already. Everyone wants a piece of Posh!
