Can the presiding queen of stateside style soon become a French Legioness? That's what the rumor mill says this morning, as Anna Wintour's name has supposedly been thrown in the ring as an honoree for France's highest honor, the Legion d’Honneur, this year.
The British-born editor in chief of Vogue already has a few accolades under her crocodile belt, including an Order of the British Empire. If awarded, Wintour would join some of her fashion besties, including recent recipients of a National Order of the Legion of Honour Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani and Karl Lagerfeld. We're not so much worried about if she'll win, as we are wondering what she would where if she does. Good luck Anna!
