A Summer Preview: Ann Taylor

At the preview of the Ann Taylor summer collection last Thursday, the whole vibe was relaxed, and had the super luxe feeling of the perfect summer getaway. Pretty water colored animal prints were splashed onto matte satin blouses and sundresses, and paired with chunky baubles covered in coral and turquoise tones. The hotel-white upholstered sitting areas replete with gorgeous cocktail waiters set the mood as we browsed through the collection. The clothes felt very summer-vacation friendly, ultra luxurious, and perfect for a yacht trip or an exotic safari. At the same time, the pieces were tailored enough to wear to work.

The beautiful colored wedges, and chunky accessories will add some fun to the office, and easily take things from day to night. The crisp, chic white trousers were just begging to be paired with a platform wedge at your next summer meeting, or tossed on with a sheer top and heavy exotic jewelry for a night on the water. The gorgeous designs were just as functional and smart. You’ll look totally polished for every meeting, dinner party, vacation, friend’s wedding, or those never-ending days running errands. All fashionable working women on the go should look forward to these pretty, functional pieces just waiting to hit stores.
