So after working with Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf, and Lanvin, where does one go from there? Apparently, back home.
At least that's the case with retail giant H&M, who's decided their next collaborative effort will be a design house hailing from their native Sweden. The lucky label to make the cut? Swedish retro clog maker Hasbeens.
And though the choice to come out with a line of clogs for spring has some fashion-savvy eyebrows raised, Hasbeens has made a global name for itself by producing high-end, yet eco-friendly clogs based on 70's styles and even has a solid celeb following that includes Sarah Jessica Parker and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
The gently-priced clogs will hit about 150 H&M stores around the world in April. Hasbeens clogs are currently sold in more than 20 countries for up to around $500, with Sweden and the United States being the biggest markets. And while you might not be a fan of the clunky shoe now, you never know—come spring it may just be time to get your clog on!
