Erin Fetherston, who's collaboration with Juicy Couture comes to an end next month ( Already? Insert sadface here ), just announced that she will be showing a new lower-priced contemporary line named aptly "Erin".
The line will debut at this upcoming New York Fashion Week and hit stores in the fall. In lieu of pushing this lower priced line, her regular priced line will be on hold for the time being. According to Erin Fetherston, her 2007 collaboration with Target and recent partnership with Juicy Couture played heavily in her decision to take a lower-price route. “I became more aware of a large Erin Fetherston fan base that hasn’t necessarily been able to buy into the designer price point,” she says. “I don’t want to leave that girl out anymore.”
The new line will focus more on everyday wear, and seem more like "ample ladyfied sportswear". T-shirts embellished with beadwork and chiffon accents and skinny black pant with a swath of silk trailing in the back, like a cape help give this new line a bit of sophistication without being over the top. Look for prices to be between $73 and $250 at wholesale.
