Most of us are sitting at home waiting for a blizzard to hit, so what better way to wait than to update our manicure? Right now six shades are making rounds on digits and becoming the hottest colors to rock.
Wine is a great try for the manicure-timid. It's a switch up from the normal reds and pinks, but it's just as office friendly. Even though it's a current trend, you could get away with this color year round.
For the less timid, bling never goes out of style. Gold is the perfect shade to spruce up dark winter days and it can almost pretend to be on the more neutral side when you opt for a browner shade with less metallic.
Round two for metallics, silver is a shade best left on the weekends. Fierce and definitely not for the shy.
Teal is a hot shade right now, just make sure you're picky about your shade and pick one with navy undertones so that your hands don't look frostbitten.
Deep purple is the more sophisticated cousin of the black nails of our youth. When you pick up a shade with flecks of sparkle, the color will really dance when the light hits your nails.
The key to red right now is lovely, cheery, cherry red. Less sultry more fun, make sure the shade you pick prompts you to smile and want to do the twist while wearing adorable espadrilles.
Time to break out the nail polish remover and the manicure kit! What color are you most excited to change into?
