Beauty Beat: Ted Gibson to Open Ft. Lauderdale Salon

February 7, 2011 • Beauty

Celebrity hair stylist Ted Gibson has just announced plans for a new Ted Gibson Salon in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. at the W Hotel. The salon is scheduled to open this summer.

“I am thrilled to bring the Ted Gibson brand to Ft. Lauderdale,” Gibson said. “Partnering with the W Hotel is a perfect fit, as we share the same innovative philosophy that will help bring a new level of sophistication and style to the region.”

Sadly however, Ted Gibson will be closing his Washington, DC location this month in order to focus on the new 2,000-square-foot space with 12 stations in Ft. Lauderdale.

Best known for coiffing some of Hollywood’s top starlets, Gibson has worked with celebrities including Ashley Greene, Gabrielle Union, Angelina Jolie, Anne Hathaway and Zoe Saldana. His work has appeared in publications such as  Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Rolling Stone, and Allure and backstage at runway shows such as Chanel, Prada, Carmen Marc Valvo and Dolce & Gabbana. He is also the current hair guru on TLC’s hit show “What Not To Wear” (one of our farvoites) and spokesperson for Beauty Changes Lives.
