Fashion Stars In The Front Row. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NY Fall 2011.

February 15, 2011 • New York Fashion Week Fall '11, Yahoo

Is there something in the water? Celebs are packing into New York Fashion Week with a vengeance! Shows like Christian Siriano, Rebecca Minkoff, and BCBG Max Azria have had their front rows saturated with stars–and they're not just B-listers! Here's who we've seen and what they're wearing!

Jill Stuart

Tinsley Mortimer, Jill Stuart, Mena Suvari

A bunch of shows including Prabal Gurung saw the sudden mix of pink and red.  Designer Jill Stuart is definitely in on the trend before anyone else. Look how the deep red shows play off the pink polka dots in the dress! Socialite Tinsley Mortimer and actress Mena Suvari also look glamorous!

Becca Diamond, Lynn Stuart, Alexa Lee Joel, Olivia Munn, Mena Suvari

A bevy of stars including Becca Diamond, Alexa Lee Joel, Olivia Munn, and Mena Suvari made us want to look at the front row instead of the runway!

Diane Von Furstenberg

Molly Simms, Fergie

Look at the chic array of colors at the DVF show! Model Molly Simms wows in a bold sleeved red tunic while Fergie gets our attention in bright green. Furstenberg is known for her bold color patterns so why shouldn't the celebs in attendance follow suit?

Barbara Walters

Look at how stunning Barbara Walters is in her blue dress and decorative print scarf, with nude pointed toe heels. I've never seen her look better. And at the DVF show no less!

Charlotte Ronson

LaLa Vasquez, Kim Kardashian

BFFs LaLa Vasquez and Kim Kardashian met after the Charlotte Ronson show. I'm not a fan of LaLa's fur (Solange Knowles wannabe much?), but Kim looked dapper in her white suspenders and print shorts combo, which was most likely a Charlotte Ronson original. Love when the famous Kardashian sister shows her support for designers at NYFW.

Betsey Johnson

Jessica Hart

I don't know much about model Jessica Hart, but I do know I'm pleased by a girl who loves Betsey Johnson and is not afraid to show it. She can also pull off a poofy orange tutu dress (probably a Betsey Johnson original) like no other!

Rebecca Minkoff

Agyness Deyn

Bringing some High Street style to New York City, model Agyness Deyn keeps to her signature look at the Rebecca Minkoff show. She's the only one I know that can pull off giant Doc Martens and make them look appealing.

Rag & Bone

Erin Wasson, Alexa Chung

Also looking pretty funky (in a good way) are Alexa Chung and Erin Wasson at Rag & Bone. We know Erin does her own line (was she picking up some pointers) but we're not really sure why a former MTV talk show host from England (who's show didn't even do that well despite scoring tons of celeb interviews) was in attendence.  Guess it has something to do with her killer casual style! Both ladies looked comfortable, but cool in print.

Marc Jacobs

Leighton Meester

I love Blair Waldorf! Leighton Meester, however, is more of a boho chick. Too bad it doesn't always work. This is a great dress with a super cool print, but it doesn't look right on Leighton, who seems to be trying to play a different role entirely. (Remember that boho-esque Proenza Schouler sheath with the draping didn't work either.)

Alice & Olivia

Brittney Snow & Vanessa Hudgens

While Brittney Snow is a regular Fashion Week fixture, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens is not. So it was lovely to see her at more then one runway show including Marc Jacobs and Alice & Olivia. Brittney looks classy even with the sexy red pumps, while Vanessa keeps up her feminine boho chic style with a short print dress.

Monique Lhuillier

Julia Stiles

The last time I saw Julia Stiles, her hair was long so it was a nice surprise to see it look shorter, as marmy as it may be. Definitely love how that deep purple dress makes her look less grandma, though. Love the bell sleeves and the color, though the fit leaves something to be desired.

Donna Karan

Marisa Berenson w/ Gabby Karan

Marisa Berenson on the left certainly looks warm and cozy in gray knits on the left.  But aren't knits supposed to be next year's Fall 2011 trend? (Saw them EVERYWHERE on the runway!) Guess she's ahead of the times!

Tracey Reese

Julia Stiles, Gabrielle Union, Natalie Morales

Gabrielle Union looks exquisite and the semi-blah looks of Julia Stiles (left) and Natalie Morales (right) only seem to emphasize her stunning look more. I do enjoy the color of Julia's dress though. Much better then that weirdly fitting deep purple.

Tommy Hilfiger

Bella Heathcote, Rosario Dawson, Petra Nemcova, Rose Byrne

A super cute foursome and each girl adds her individuality to the mix. And somehow it's still very Tommy Hilfiger!

Seen Around Town

Jessica Stam

Looking urban chic and as lovely as ever, American model Jessica Stam was photographed around Lincoln Center in pleated harem pants, a sheer top (def a no no when photographers are around) and a tough leather jacket to liven up the look. I'm also loving the high ponytail and the smile.
