Rumor Mill. McQueen Label to Make Kate Middleton’s Wedding Gown

March 8, 2011 • Celebrity Style, Off-Topic

We're only a few mere weeks away and we still have no official dress for the future queen of England.

Though the label is denying these reports (of course), rumor has it that creative director Sarah Burton's new Alexander McQueen label will be the white wedding dress Kate Middleton will be wearing during her walk down the aisle for Prince William on April 29.

This wouldn't be that big of a surprise. The British label already has a bit of history and is well established. McQueen is still a househould name and has enough pull to draw crowds. But the brand is still young enough to be a good generational choice. And since the studio is led by Burton, the house also has the skills and resources to make a custom dress.

Well, now we just have to wait and see…
