Every morning on my way to work, I walk past an art gallery where an abstract painting of the Chicago skyline lives. The colors and textures in this painting are like nothing I’ve ever seen, and I am perpetually enthralled by its vitality and imagination. So for this month’s affordable selections, I took my inspiration from some other spectacular works of art.

Gustav Klimt
Gustav Klimt is one of my favorite artists, and the movement in this painting always keeps me coming back for more.

I’m loving maxi skirts for spring, and this mix of colors immediately made me think of my old pal, Gustav.

Susanna S.
I came across this painting on my daily visit to the best site for original finds,, by Susanna S. and I just LOVE the way the red pops!

The print resembles a field full of crimson poppies, making this the perfect dress for a spring brunch.
