Crazy things are happening over at Marc Jacobs…
Last week, the new public social media intern quit and had a public meltdown all over Twitter, calling Robert Duffy difficult and "a tyrant"… so his next role in this lawsuit won't really help his case.
There are reports that former COO Patrice Lataillade is filing a lawsuit aganist company president Robert Duffy. Lataillade says that he was fired after complaining about some of the alleged incidents in the company. The hanging of nude photos of employees, gay pornography, and pole dancing apparently went on under Duffy's supervision.
"Duffy has behaved as if he has no obligation to follow [Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessey's] rules of conduct or the law," the suit says. "He uses company funds for personal expenses and does not censor what he does." A spokesperson for Marc Jacobs says that Lataillade was fired for "serious matters unrelated to the allegations made in the complaint."
We just got over the Galliano drama-rama. Can we get a break here?!
