The Thing I am Loving: BE Cares Sweet Smile Eyecolor

April 11, 2011 • Beauty

On Saturday I attended the Beautylish launch event in Soho. The site is dedicated to all things beauty. While there I spoke to a representative from Bare Escentuals who told me about a fab new eyecolor with a mission, so I had to check it out as soon as I got home. Bare Escentuals' Sweet Smile was a limited-edition color that was created in honor of Jessica, a dear customer whose sister, Eneida, has had 24 surgeries in her 35 years, in an attempt to correct a cleft palate.

Every purchase of Sweet Smile Eyecolor helps support Bare Escentuals' donation to Smile Train. Smile Train is dedicated to helping millions of children around the world who are suffering from cleft lip and palate, and empowers local doctors in developing countries to provide free surgery for children who can't afford it.

Apparently this beautiful color which is a glimmery purple-silver color is selling like hotcakes and beating all expectations. They can hardly keep it on the shelves.

Please join Bare Escentuals and BE Cares in their efforts to support Smile Train. 100% of the proceeds from the purchase of this product will help 200 children lead happy, normal lives.

I love this color! Mother’s day is right around the corner, if anyone is in need on an idea of a meaningful gift, buy the sweet smiles for yourself and then you could make a donation on behalf of Mom to Smile Train…Smile Train is all about outcomes

I think it is so great that BE is donating proceeds to Smile Train. I love the color and the story behind it. Check out Smile Train Outcomes to see the touching stories behind the charity.
