It always feels good to shop for a cause doesn’t it?

Global_Fashion_Brands_logo To celebrate National Earth Month invites you to shop GREEN at its online pop up shop dedicated to ethical fashion! Just launched in February, GlobalFashionBrands offers a unique opportunity to independent designers and retailers to create their own digital storefront, and savvy consumers like you the opportunity to shop locally for international brands!

For April they’ve created a special GREEN pop up to offer consumers a place to online shop that is 100% earth friendly!

The website will feature some local Chicago designers Lara Miller, Frei Designs and Alidade, who all focus on eco-friendly, sustainable fashion. The pieces above can also be found at Cerato Boutique, located at 3451 N. Southport Avenue in the Southport Corridor.

Even better,  a portion of the proceeds of all purchases will benefit The American Red Cross to aid the Japan Disaster Relief Fund.

All eco-friendly products are available throughout the month of April (1st – 30th) at as well as locally at Cerato Boutique.

Thanks for writing about this! I work for a company called Uptown Liz, which was created in memory of the founder’s 28 year old sister, Liz, who died from breast cancer. Uptown Liz ( promotes products from companies whose proceeds go to different charitable organizations. You can shop on this one-of-a-kind website by charitable cause or product category, knowing that every time you make a purchase you are making a difference. There are many great art, clothing, jewelry, house wares, beauty and eco-friendly products (just to name a few) that benefit charities all over the world.
