Ok, Chicago: for those of you that have been procrastinating on scooping up tickets for the social event of the season, this is now your last chance!! Chicago's first ever Red Dress Party will take place Saturday, April 16 at 525 W. Monroe St. and the entire city is coming out to kick up their heels and support a crucially important cause.
The Red Dress party is a national event that draws over 800 guests per city to create awareness and visibility for raising funds dedicated to the research and care of HIV/AIDS patients.
Some of the highlights of Chicago's premiere Red Dress Party will be recording artist Kristine W. and Chicago's own hilarious entertainer Miss Foozie, while the fete will be hosted by familiar faces Candace Jordan of Candid Candace and Marcus Riley of NBC. The AIDS foundation of Chicago and Equality Project have been named the official beneficiaries of the event and the best part is, you HAVE to wear red. That's right, the room will be glowing in the color of love as red dresses, shoes, bags, hats, suits and ties will all be making special appearances to raise awareness for the special cause.
Tickets are still available but there's already a last minute rush to jump on board so hurry and get yours now by calling 773.413.9695. For more information, visit chicagoreddressparty.org. Second City Style will be there in our fabulous red ensembles, and we hope to see you there too!
