This was too neat (and bizarre) to pass up. Louis Vuitton has commissioned Billie Achilleos—a London-based self-described “versatile artist and maker of things," according to WWD—to create four "creatures" out of small leather goods or "petite maroquinerie" en francais.
LV wallets, coin purses, belts and hardware from the iconic bags were layered and assembled to resemble an iguana, a bear, an aardvark and a caterpillar (!) in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Louis Vuitton SLG Savoir Faire collection.
While the new LV zoo may not be available to purchase, they are pretty darn cool to look at! And by September, customers will be able to have items such as the Zippy wallet and organizer customized as part of the Mon Monogram program. What will they think of next…..
