Sorel Keeps Your Feet Looking as Cool as Winter Weather

Fall Winter 2011/12 with Sorel is going to be so cool! The new boots they have coming out in August are something to be excited about! This will be their second time doing a rain boot (after success this spring in bright color options), with rich new fall colors… the rain boots should continue to be a hit even as we get into the chilly weather next season! Plus this will be their first time doing a wedge boot, which will be great for a snowy day out shopping or running errands. You have the trusty constriction of a Sorel boot in a slimmer feminine form with s cool wedge heel.

My absolute favorite color trends they’re doing are the plums with olive, their pops of bright orange trim, plus the pink and red floral for winter (which is so girly and cute!). The chunky, lace up boot for snow in a feminine floral print is great, especially with a pair of skinny’s and some crazy chunky knits under a ski puffer. Other favorite concepts for me were the sort of Native American inspired patterned exteriors, as well as the cozy sweater knit booty, and the tall boots covered in a wild shaggy fur. Sorel really did a great job capturing the latest trends and gathering inspiration to vamp up their styles, which are known to be a sturdy traditional snow boot. The moccasin boots, quilted details, fur trim, removable (preppy “loafer like”) fringed details, and the traditional 80’s ski wear inspired looks keep the collection fashion forward and on trend for cold days running around the city. I can’t wait for the new styles to hit store in August, get ready to scoop up a pair or two, and enjoy the sneak peak photos of my favorite fall styles!
