Last-Minute Shopper? Check Out Robert Verdi’s 2011 Ultimate Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Lauren at RV Lounge
Here I am too excited for a pregnant woman to be getting a bottle of champagne! That is Aly Walansky next to me (probably wondering why I'm so excited).

Are you a last-minute shopper? Did you even get your mother something yet? This year I sent mine out so early (why I think the postal service will take two weeks is beyond me) she has had her gift for a week! Of course she opened it. I digress.

If you are one of those who puts such things off until the 11th hour, stylist extraordinaire Robert Verdi has some great gift ideas for every type of Mom! I have some of my faves listed below (not the complete list) which are sure to score you brownie points with Mom and she never has to know you bought the gift on Saturday!

Jonathan Adler Charade Flower Frame 3 x 3, $58

Put a picture of yourself in there or better yet, email it to Jonathan Adler and he will put it in there for you and ship it to Mom. Ths one might be a little later, but what Mom doesn't love a frame?

Edible Arrangements, prices vary

Who can resist fresh fruit and chocolate dipped fresh fruit at that? Mom will be proud you went semi-healthy.

Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 2 inch Spin Air Brush $68.99

Your Mom will be impressed you though of her tresses. Mom's always have to look good, no? Mind you, my mother still uses hot rollers, but whatever.

Perrier-Jouët Fleur de Champagne Rose 2002, $300

Yes, I tasted some (half glass), yes it was delightful and yes, your mother will LOVE it and you for giving her something so decadent!

Brenda Novak Scarf, $120

We actually did a post on this a few weeks ago. Mom and NY Times bestselling author author (of over 40 books), Brenda Novak has created a charity scarf with Hayden-Harnett with a passage from her latest novel "Inside" the proceeds of which go towards Diabetes research. What Mom wouldn't think that is the perfect gift? One that gives.

Keurig Platinum Brewing System,$179.95

Considering my mother drinks coffee like it's her job, I think this could just be the ultimate perfect gift.

Here are some photos from the Robert Verdi Tweet-This Tweetup this past Tuesday evening.

Here is the amazing Jonathan Adler and Robert Verdi comedy routine in action. They had us in tears.

Coffee maker
A coffee maker? Total excitement!

Here is Brenda Novak telling us how she got into novel writing because she caught her nanny drugging the kids with cough syrup…so she became a stay-at-home mom. Wow!

Who can resist chocolate covered strawberries? I know I can't…I had 2.

Here I am chatting with the adorbs Vera of I'm Not Obsessed (who I had not seen in ages but saw twice in 1 day!)

It's not so easy getting this all home! Taxi?
