When I saw this dress on a pregnant Selma Blair recently, my first thought was, Topshop makes maternity? Woot! My second though was, can I wear that dress? So I hiked it down to SoHo a few weeks ago and snagged it. As you know I don't like most maternity clothing so when I saw this dress which was in a hot spring shade and at a reasonable price point ($100) I knew I had to have it. Do I look as cute as Selma in it? No way, but I feel better in it than I have in a while. Just don't expect many pics of me while I'm pregnant.
I wore this to the Fashion140 conference in NYC yesterday which sadly was a gross, rainy day. I normally would not have paired this dress with thick tights and booties, but it had to be done if I wanted to wear it. My only complaint is that this dress wrinkles like mad and after an hour of wearing it I looked a bit messy. I have to thank Carol for airbrushing the wrinkles out a bit. Sadly the rest is not retouched!
