First Galliano, then Decarnin, now another head fashion honcho has left their prestigious house.
Chloé announced on its Twitter feed and website this morning that head designer Hannah MacGibbon would be replaced by Clare Waight Keller on June 1. MacGibbon has been a part of the Chloé house for a decade, where she started as an assistant.
Chloé said in a statement that MacGibbon is leaving to pursue “new projects”. After working under Tom Ford at Gucci, Waight Keller took over Pringle of Scotland in 2005. She resigned in March “to a certain extent … for personal reasons,” she said at the time. Guess that personal reason was working at Chloé, huh?
