Fashion museum exhibits are so fetch this year.
Marc Jacobs is gearing up for an exhibition next year in Paris: Les Arts Décoratifs. The exhibit will be devoted to the designer’s work for Louis Vuitton, viewed alongside the contribution of the French brand’s namesake.
Pamela Golbin, the museum’s chief curator, plans to showcase two key periods in fashion history represented by the two men: the industrial revolution of the 19th century, and the globalization of contemporary fashion.
