Last week I was finally able to attend a Neiman Marcus event myself. Our Chicago staff usually gets the honors as I never seem able to make them. This time there was a dinner at Craftbar in NYC where a select group of bloggers were invited to learn about Neiman Marcus’ 26 Last Call Clearance Centers (which if you have never been, you must got to pronto), Last Call Studios by Neiman Marcus (which feature edited, in-season, contemporary looks purchased directly from vendors) and their newly launched website LastCall.com (which carries many of the same items found at Last Call Studios by Neiman Marcus stores). Got all that?
Oh, and I didn’t want to forget, our own Alia Rajput is now featured on their website as a “Guest Editor” in their Blogger Picks series this month. So be sure to check out her picks for summer style here!
Anyway, so now I’m obsessed with LastCall.com which launched last October. The site offers an online shopping experience found at both Last Call Clearance Centers and Last Call Studio by Neiman Marcus stores. The merchandise assortment on LastCall.com is comprised primarily of product purchased directly from vendors as well as marked-down merchandise from Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman Web sites and catalogs. The site also offers special features such as Fashion Dash where registered shoppers are offered timed sales on hot trends and “Just-in” events that present shoppers with new merchandise on a regular basis.
I even bought a fabulous pair of wedge leather sandals to round out my summer sandal collection. The delivery was fast and they even offer free returns…but I’m not returning these! They are super comfortable.
