Marc Jacobs Changes Partners for Children’s Line

Designing for children seems to be the new thing for 2011.

Yesterday, we reported the details on Diane von Furstenberg‘s upcoming children’s collection for the Gap and today, we have news that Marc Jacobs just inked a new children’s wear deal. Paris-based Children Worldwide Fashion Group, or C.W.F., said it would produce and distribute the Little Marc Jacobs collection for girls and boys starting with the Autumn/Winter 2012 season.

Jacobs first introduced a capsule line for tots in 2005, expanding the collection and the business a year later by inking a licensing deal with France’s Zannier Group. It seems as if the terms of that deal has expired and Jacobs will just be changing partners. Terms of the deal were not released.
