Tiffany & Company’s Favorite Romantic Spots in NYC

June 13, 2011 • Fashion Blog

Thursday I had a gorgeous evening with Tiffany & Co. on a perfect tour of toasts to some of New York’s hidden romantic spots. We took a small private bus around to a couple of the mot gorgeous, quaint little jewel-box of hideaways in the city! The places are featured on their site, The site is a must-check-out filled with romantic stories, tips, playlists, films, and impressive date nightspots located all over the city! It’s a cool site to browse as well as a place to share your own stories and favorite spots too!

The night started out at the breathtakingly beautiful Tiffany’s store on Wall Street. We all died over the latest jewels as we played with our new Sony “Bloggie” cameras, chatted, and enjoyed the pretty hors d’oeuvres and themed drinks, until the rain slowed down a bit.

The first stop was the ultra private and exclusive “Italian Wine Merchants”, where we shared a phenomenal meal and wine pairing. The wines were all fabulous, but my absolute favorite thing was the fresh mozzarella we ate which is flown in twice a day from Italy.  As a lifelong mozzarella fanatic I can genuinely say I was impressed by the quality, it was fantastic! Every cheese, pasta, and meat we had was delicious! The space is stunning, especially their “vintage room”. The atmosphere and wines make it a must-see spot and a perfect date night and a unique cultural experience. Check out their site ( to reserve a tasting or get info on events!

Then we were whisked away to the hidden little speakeasy, “Raines Law Room”. As a lover of sexy little secret spots, I could rave enough about it! I love discovering these kinds of gems; especially this one… dressed in all velvet and wood with plenty of little nooks and pretty upholstered seating areas in an intimate layout providing a seductive feeling of privacy. The space is perfect in every single way, right down to the unmarked entrance, yummy scent, quiet atmosphere, flawless wallpaper, and the clever little tassels to pull for assistance. We enjoyed delicious drinks, and boxes filled with interesting chocolates and baggies of iced Tiffany’s treats. What a great place to end the event, and start my night! I couldn’t say enough good things, Tiffany really knows her way around the city’s most romantic areas! Be sure to check them out, and more on their new whatmakeslovetrue site! Enjoy, play, and have fun!
