What many saw at 11 AM on Monday

Did you try to get a bag from the “You Can’t Fake Fashion” sale on eBay? Left empty-handed? You’re not alone.

Many fashionistas were left out in the cold and confused when the “You Can’t Fake Fashion” event started hours before it’s actual start time. The CFDA and eBay launched the “You Can’t Fake Fashion” anti-counterfeit campaign by commissioning top designers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Marchesa and Jason Wu. The event was widely publicized to start on Monday at 11 AM but a computer glitch started the sale more than two hours earlier. The organizers of the event scrambled to otify shoppers but many did not realize. By the previously expectant start time of the event, almost all of the custom-made totes were sold.”By 11 AM, all of the bags were gone,” sniffed one potential buyer.

So much fighting counterfeit fashion, huh?
