Everyone’s favorite fashion staple is finally getting the recognition she deserves! And it’s not Anna!

Grace Coddington, the creative director of Vogue magazine, has sold her memoir to Susan Kamil at Random House for a rumored $1.2 million. The book will reportedly be co-written with Michael Roberts, a Vogue writer.

Random House had no comment, but Coddington reportedly had began planning this book back in 2010. Back then, WWD had previously reported that it would cover “her modeling days in Sixties London, the car accident that changed her career path and her ascendancy through fashion’s ranks as a stylist and editor at British Vogue and, later, its American counterpart.”

Everyone remembers how Coddington stole the show in the documentary The September Issue so one could expect nothing less from her memoir.Cant’ wait to see what she has to say!
