All you “Gossip Girl” fans out there, (and we know there are many of you), are about to get a “kick” out of this tasty tidbit. DKNY has announced their collaboration with Eric Daman, costume designer of the hit TV series “Gossip Girl,” to design a capsule collection of legwear for fall.
Inspired by the urban landscape of New York City, which is a muse for both DKNY and “Gossip Girl” , the line of patterned legwear will include eight styles of full-length tights and over-the-knee tights. The fun and flirty styles will range from textured dots, jacquards and opaque to sheer stripes, a floral motif and sexy fishnets. The packaging will feature artwork of a New York City-inspired landscape designed by Dallas Shaw and will be specific to Daman’s collection.
“Hosiery is a fabulous accessory and truly makes a woman’s outfit,” said Daman, who added the collection will reflect his personal “styling sensibility.” “Having used DKNY legwear so often on ‘Gossip Girl,’ it seemed natural for me to collaborate with a brand I love to work with.”
The Eric Daman for DKNY legwear collection will be hitting stores including Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom as well as DKNY boutiques, starting this month (Happy August!) The collection will also be available at dkny.com. Suggested retail for the hosiery will be between $15 and $24.
