UK Style by French Connection: A Smashing Hit Arriving at Sears Near You!

August 12, 2011 • Events, Fashion Blog, Holiday

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending a wonderful breakfast with Sears and French Connection at the ACE hotels’ beautiful Breslin dining room here in Manhattan to showcase their newest collection. The diffusion line is now available only in Sears stores, or at, and is called “UK style by French Connection”. The collection is definitely something you’ll want to look into for key fall pieces, keeping you up-to-date on all of the best fall trends inspired by the best of the UK. The collection is available now featuring amazing pieces created by the global brand for prices that wont break the bank. At breakfast today all of the editors had an opportunity to style our own mannequins with looks from the upcoming fall and Holiday collections. I had so much fun browsing the racks and styling my favorite pieces before a lavish meal in the dining area below!

The collection is packed with French Connections’ signature style and loads of lace, floaty chiffon blouses, chunky cardigans, cool autumn dress shorts, a killer jumpsuit, and some patterned leggings as well. Layer the looks up with a blazer or trench and some chunky over the knee socks and you’re set! I love that one of the brands I adore is now being offered to a wider customer range, and at such a fabulous price point! I love seeing a collection with such substantial design elements made so accessible. The collection offers such great fall pieces which all seem to flawlessly work together in creating dozens of outfit options. So mix and matchable! The line masters the tricky balance between the classic British prepster look, and that edgy London coolness you crave. Dig in, and grab some while you still can! Here are some of my pics from the breakfast as well as the look book of the season!
