For many seasons, our favorite leading ladies have been taking trends from their male counterparts and this season is no exception. Less full outfit inspiration, more so ladies have stolen one accessory and are working it better than the boys on the red carpet. The bow tie has been owned by the ladies and we won’t be giving it back anytime soon.
The look can be as obvious as Diane Kruger‘s twist on a tux with a classic bow-tie or it can get more feminine with a feminine dress and a flowing bow from the neck a la Olivia Wilde.
This look can go from their way to the real way with any collared blouse and a ribbon or flowy scarf. Keep it from looking costumey by avoiding other masculine accessories with the look and keep the bow proportionate to your outfit. Now go out there and make all the men jealous that you look better in a bow tie than they do.
