Just because the runway show was over at the Chicago Theater, it didn’t mean there was not a impromptu runway show going on at Macy’s on State Street. The best of Chicago fashionistas gathered on the seventh floor for the Glamorama after-party to have some fun and a few drinks wearing the best frocks this city has to offer. Second City Style was there to catch all of them in action!
We found these blonde bombshells dancing the night away. The one-shoulder silver metallic, textured dress and teal pumps paired perfectly with her friend’s easy, breezy navy dress with nude heels and a statement necklace. These two were trend ready!
This woman’s friends were so excited that she was picked to be part of SCS’s best dressed. How could you not love a one-shoulder white organza dress with a thick black bow and black and diamante bangles? Her perfectly paired peep-toe shoes and simple clutch keep the ensemble from being too cutesy.
Here are another pair of friends that work well alone but even better paired together! The simple white dress was a standout amongst the sea of black and navy. The fun and girly ruffled shoulder straps keeps the dress summer-ready and light-hearted. Her friend was a great contrast, with a strapless mutli-colored mini. The pink clutch goes in theme with the dress without being overpowering.
