Just in time for Fashion Week!
Elie Tahari has just re-launched his e-commerce website with a new platform and design features with fast and easy navigation. The site will also combine these e-commerce traits with an with elevated editorial content and social media, while enhancing its customers’ online shopping experience.
Designed in partnership with Fluid Inc. and on the Demandware® Commerce platform, the site will feature exclusive product designed especially for the web. Tahari will also curate a monthly page called “Elie Loves” featuring his favorite pieces from the collection. A 28-page full color catalog will be mailed to 250,000 top customers to coincide with the launch, featuring the a customized shopping platform on the website, allowing customers to click to buy product directly from the pages. Another initiative, for Pre-fall 2012, will offer customers the chance to design their own custom handbag by choosing the fabrication, interior pocket design, color, etc, and for the following Fall 2012 season, customers will be able
to order pieces straight from the runway. To coincide with the new website design and re-launch, Tahari’s Spring 2012 fashion show will be broadcast live from Lincoln Center on the website for the first time at 7 pm EST on September 14, 2011.
