Via Spiga had a gorgeous event at their Soho location this week where I was able to meet with celebrity stylist Christina Ehrlich and get a preview of the new boots she and her clients love for this fall. The event was such an exciting way to kick off the new partnership between Christina and Via Spiga, what a brilliant team! I’ve got lots of yummy sneak peek photos from the new fall boot closet, and the insider secrets on how to wear them flawlessly. The fall collection does a great job keeping the architecturally inspired footwear feeling luxurious while bringing an amped up feeling on femininity.
The collection offers beautiful flats as well as the killer boots we always expect from the brand. I have my eye on the “Rey” loafer at $185. The patent leather is so chic and clean, plus the color options make it easy for the loafer to transition between warm and cool seasons, as it comes in berry and olive tones. I cannot get enough of those two colors right now! They’re a great non-boot option for fall, and are a look which easily takes you from super-casual to more formal occasions. Also, the “Beaux” flat at $165 is a beautiful new version of your favorite flats that can easily roll-up and be tossed into your bag for later. Perfectly chic, and easy for travel!
My favorites are the taller boots in the collection. The knee-high flat boots (the “Khloe” boot at $395), as well as the over-the-knee wedged boot (The “Adair” boot at $375) are sure to be a hit! Especially after trying on the wedged pair, because they are so unbelievably comfortable! I cannot get enough pairs of boots this season, especially tall over the knee, or even thigh high ones. They’re classic, and equestrian when done with a slim riding pant.
The line does a wonderful job offering heels and booties appropriate for every holiday occasion, as well as getting me excited to dress for fall! The suede T-strap heels (the “Ilsa” at $225, which I love in the raspberry shade) are an ultra practical pick, and easily take you from Thanksgiving into the winter holidays by easily dressing up or down with a pleated trouser or a slim pant. I also have my eye on two furry pairs of booties (the “Alma” at $350, as well as the “Leya” at $298) The “Leya” bootie is a cozy shearing boot with a heel. So easy to add a rugged edge to any outfit by tossing on with a pair of skinny jeans, or wear them with a pair of cable knit tights and a mini.
Here’s a peek at my favorite styles which haven’t hit stores yet, so keep your eye out for them in stores and at viaspiga.com!
